Most sponges are made from polyester and nylon, which cannot be recycled or composted. Everytime those basic yellow and green sponges are used, small pieces, a type of microplastic, are washed straight down the drain & into our water systems. These microplastics then stay in the ocean or soil until they are ingested by wildlife or humans. These sponges are made from 100% biodegradable and compostable wood pulp. They're super absorbent and can hold up to 10x their weight in liquid. Soft texture won't scratch pots & pans, ergonomic shape cuts down on fatigue during cleaning sessions. Each will sponge lasts about 6 months depending on use, check out care instructions below. Sold in packs of 2.
